Aims. We aim to increase the contrast limits detect new satellites orbiting known asteroids. use cutting-edge data reduction techniques and processing algorithms that are essential best analyse raw provided by instruments their performances. Doing so, unequalled performances of SPHERE also make it a unique tool resolve study asteroids in solar system, expanding domain its main science targets. Methods. applied newly developed pipeline for integral field spectrographs on archival resolved asteroid, (130) Elektra. It was coupled with dedicated point spread function reconstruction algorithm model asteroid halo. Following halo removal, moon signal could be extracted more accurately. The positions were fitted at three epochs used derive orbital parameters via genetic-based algorithm. Results. announce discovery S/2014 2, third Elektra, making first quadruple ever found. is identified different epochs, 9, 30, 31 Dec. 2014, respective angular separation 258 mas (333 km), 229 (327 319 (457 km). estimate this has period 0.679 day semi-major axis 344 km, an eccentricity 0.33 inclination 38 degrees compared primary rotation axis. With relative magnitude 10.5, size estimated 1.6 km.
